CycleCNC for Industry
Aerospace, medical, dental, watch-component, and precision-mechanics manufacturers use the Pocket NC for prototyping, low-volume production, and dedicated micro-tooling cells.
Where industry buyers deploy Pocket NC
Prototype machining
R&D teams need a 5-axis machine that doesn't compete with production for capacity. A dedicated Pocket NC sitting on the engineer's bench means part iterations happen in hours, not days. Common in aerospace bracketry, medical-device design, and consumer-electronics chassis development.
Micro-tooling production
The 50,000 RPM spindle on the V2-50 makes sub-1 mm endmills genuinely productive. Watch movements, dental implants, ear-canal hearing-aid moulds — all routinely on Pocket NCs in EU manufacturers.
Low-volume production cells
3–5 Pocket NCs sharing a single CAM seat and a single operator can outperform a single full-size VMC for parts under 100 mm cube, especially when batch sizes are 10–500. The economics: lower per-machine cost, lower per-machine energy, and parallel cycles instead of serial.
Field-deployed machining
Mobile workshops, satellite repair labs, and onboard ship-yard tooling rooms use Pocket NCs because they run on a standard wall socket and ship in a single crate. Several customers operate them in containerised mobile labs.
