About CycleCNC

The EU home for Pocket NC

CycleCNC is the authorized European distributor of Pocket NC 5-axis desktop CNC mills, manufactured by Penta Machine Co. in Bozeman, Montana, USA.

Penta has built the world's first 5-axis desktop CNC mill since 2013 — a machine compact enough for a workbench yet capable of cutting aluminum, plastics, and softer steels with simultaneous 5-axis motion. Today, Pocket NC machines run in aerospace prototyping shops, university classrooms, medical device labs, and one-person engineering firms across Europe.

What CycleCNC handles

  • EU shipping & import documentation — including US export-license coordination for the V2 platform.
  • Local-language support — German, English, French, Italian, Monday to Friday 09:00–17:00 CET.
  • EU warranty service — first-line diagnostics and repair coordination from Germany, so your machine doesn't have to cross the Atlantic for support.
  • Commercial financing — leasinGo Mietkauf and Leasing options for German B2B customers on machines above €3,000.

About

We bring 5-axis CNC to European desktops.

CycleCNC is the authorised distributor in Germany for Penta Machine Co. — makers of the Pocket NC V2-10 and V2-50 desktop 5-axis CNC mills. We're the bench-CNC people who refuse to compromise on geometry. Same kinematics as a big-iron Mazak. 1/30th the floor footprint. 1/30th the price.

Why we exist

In 2024, when our team scoped a 5-axis prototype run for an aerospace customer in the EU, we found that every quote either pointed to a $250k production mill with a 14-month lead time, or to a job shop with a six-week queue. The Pocket NC V2 was the obvious answer — true 5-axis kinematics, desktop footprint, US-made — but importing one to Germany meant a wrong-power-cord shipment, no local service, and customs paperwork that wasn't anyone's idea of fun.

So we set up CycleCNC. One office in Cologne. Authorised distribution agreement with Penta Machine in Billings, Montana. Pre-handled customs, local German VAT, plug-and-play 230 V machines, and a service line that answers in German, English, or French. The same machine, but EU-shipped and EU-supported.

Authorised — not parallel-imported

Our distribution agreement with Penta Machine Co. gives us factory firmware updates, warranty fulfillment, and replacement parts. Buying through CycleCNC is buying directly from the manufacturer's EU office, not from a reseller chain.

Built for the EU customer

Pre-VAT pricing in EUR, 230 V machines from the factory, EU customs cleared by us, German invoices that pass tax audit, and shipping to all 27 EU member states with two-package logistics.

Local technical support

Application engineers based in Cologne. We help you spec your first job, get past the first CAM postprocessor question, and stay running. EN · DE · FR.

From prototype to production

V2-10 for the R&D lab; V2-50 CHK for short-batch production. Both machines fit on the same 60 × 60 cm bench. Both run the same CAM workflow. Scale up without rebuilding your fixturing.

The CycleCNC ecosystem

Numbers that matter:

50,000 RPM Mafell spindle — every V2-50 ships with the same head used in production mills
±0.0005 in Repeatability — measured on every machine before EU shipment
5 axes Simultaneous — same CAM workflow as a Mazak or DMG, not 3+2 indexing
60 × 60 cm Bench footprint — fits in a corner of your prototype lab
230 V Single-phase — plugs into a normal European wall outlet
6–8 wk EU lead time from order to your dock; 3 wk with the expedite option
