Returns & Refunds
European consumer protection (Widerrufsrecht / 14-day right of return) applies to private buyers. Commercial purchases are governed by CycleCNC's AGB.
Private buyers (Widerrufsrecht)
Private (B2C) buyers within the EU have a 14-day right of return under §312g BGB. To exercise it:
- Notify us in writing (email is fine) within 14 days of receiving the machine.
- Return the machine in its original packaging in unused condition.
- We refund the full purchase price minus actual return shipping costs within 14 days of receiving the return.

Commercial buyers (B2B)
Commercial purchases (where you provided a VAT ID or are otherwise registered as a business) are governed by our AGB. The standard 14-day private-buyer right of return does not apply. However, CycleCNC will accept commercial returns in cases of:
- Manufacturing defect (covered under warranty, not return)
- Specification mismatch between what was ordered and what was delivered
- Discretionary refund for unused machines within 30 days, subject to a 15% restocking fee

Damaged on arrival
If the crate arrives visibly damaged:
- Photograph it immediately — before opening, before the courier leaves if possible.
- Note "damage" on the courier's delivery receipt — this is essential for the insurance claim.
- Email us within 24 hours of delivery with the photos.
- We file the insurance claim and ship a replacement machine from Köln stock if available.
Refund timing
Refunds process to the original payment method within 5–10 working days of return inspection. SEPA bank transfers settle next-day; credit-card refunds depend on the issuer (usually 3–7 working days).
