Refund policy

1.) You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, took possession of the goods or — in the case of partial deliveries — the last of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us at:

by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. Simply returning the goods is not sufficient.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

We will confirm receipt of your withdrawal on a durable medium.

 

2.) Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal. For such reimbursement we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

You shall return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you notify us of the withdrawal of this contract, to:

The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the 14-day period has expired. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. If the goods cannot be returned by post, we estimate the recovery cost at approximately EUR 200.00 to EUR 500.00 depending on the location from which the goods must be collected.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if such diminished value is the result of handling that is not necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

 

3.) Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for digital content

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the supply of digital content not delivered on a tangible medium (e.g. online courses, software licences, downloadable files, CAD models, G-code packs, training videos) if we have begun performance of the contract after you have

a) expressly consented to performance beginning before expiry of the withdrawal period, and
b) confirmed your awareness that, by giving your consent, you lose your right of withdrawal once performance begins.

(§ 356 (5) BGB in conjunction with § 312g (2) no. 13 BGB — German Civil Code)

Products covered by this exclusion include in particular online courses and e-learning modules (e.g. Pocket NC 101), software licences and software updates (e.g. Kinetic Control updates), digital training materials, videos, CAD models, G-code packs and other downloads without a tangible medium.

Performance is deemed complete upon conclusion of the purchase contract and the initial provision of access credentials or the download option. A refund of the purchase price is excluded in such cases.

For combined orders comprising both physical goods and digital content, the right of withdrawal for the physical goods remains unaffected under sections 1 and 2 above.
